Biggest thing of late for Dixie

is AriZona sniffin' around for a deal or quite possibly a takeover of Dixie.  Beverages have the potential to segway into the highest revenue generator, digging into alcohol products marketshare and AriZona sees that and want a piece of that action.  AriZona are a multi-unicorn in the tea biz and Dixie has lots of IP and manufacturing know-how, in addition to distribution capability and government rule navigation experience for the greenrush in multiple States.
Proactive companies are eyeballing the competition to see if there is anything they want out there, much like Canopy Growth did as an umbrella company, under Bruce Linton, buying what they need to position themselves.  This will increase and there will be lots of buy-outs, takeovers, friendly or hostile and the guys with the deepest pockets usually win.  There will also be lots of attrition as potential potpreneurs come to the table with too few dollars or know-how to be successful in the greenrush.
History is going to repeat itself Stateside, following in Canada's footsteps and the States will do it better imho because they are already showing signs of getting it right with the legal green companies that are navigating the US laws to bring pharma and rec products as well as CBD's.  The hitch is getting the Feds to sort out the discriminatory mistake of lumping cannabinoids in with heroin and other highly addictive and deadly drugs.  I have been lobbying for a level playing field with alcohol as far as advertising and packaging, which in Canada is being done with too much emphasis on plain un-enticing packaging and minimal advertising I think.  I know there are lots of rules and regs in the US, especially with regards to products crossing State lines but there is also 10 x the population, so in my mind 10x the profit potential.
AriZona and Dixie doing it right on infused products is what I am hoping for.  glta and dyodd
