Sold at the open today

Finally decided to sell today and take my profit off the table.  ENF / ENB are good stocks but my decision to sell was based on three reasons:

1. The lower dividend (after returning to ENB) and the quarterly payout was my first reason.  I reinvested the money in three stocks with a sustainable average monthly dividend of 8.2%. Two of those stocks also have good growth potential.

2. Line 3 was my second reason for selling.  Even if approved it will go to court and I was reading on the weekend about how the protestors are organizing right now to fight and delay the project.  Protestors are getting more aggressive than ever before and they hate Alberta oil with a passion.   David Dodge's prediction that protests could turn violent is a real concern.

3. My final reason was the 5% rule.  I was significantly overweight in ENF and now none of the three stocks I bought exceeds 5% of my total portfolio.

This decision was right for me.  If I was a bit younger I might have hung in longer.  Good luck all.
