With the passing of the stimulus package and the imminent signature by Barrack on Monday;  and given the package contains the House - Senate compromise of the PTC conversion into an 30% ITC with further redemption into a grant by the DOE ( in essence Uncle Sam is paying for 30% of the total capital costs of a wind plant upfront ), these V90's should sell for more than 55 cents on the ...more

What percentage of their equity is actual turbines? From what I hear they owe about 130 million for WestLB and another 30 milion to local contractors. That's 160 million on a 360 million dollar windfarm. I am thinking their Monday release will announce a sale. Any other oppinions?

Could Enmax be the "major entity"? They did business with some Earthfirst affiliates last summer. On Creststreet's website I read the Creststreet Kettle Hill Windpower LP and Creststreet Windpower Development LP funds were completely dissolved... unit holders received cash and shares in Earthfirst Inc at some conversion rate. I think we are the only ones left holding this stock. lolI heard that "Earthfirst" is fighting with bidders to get more money for the company, that is why it is taking so long. There is such a demand for these Vestas that they have no problem selling them. However I do believe that the "Company" doesn't just want to sell them and be left with projects with no funding and no ...more

You know what I'm ok being the only holding this stock. I dug up some old GMP and Scotia research reports to maybe get a feel for the consensus on the value of the Dokie 1 & Dokie Expansion. The big question is can the Dokie & Dokie Expansion assets fetch more than $155 million. This is what I believe the company is currently liable for. I think the answer is yes.
