If this isn't correct but why in God's name would management reverse split this stock for a higher share price to move to a better exchange? The problem that results from this is what big guys will invest? If you have a very small # of shares, the mutuals and other large investors will not be able to invest because these guys basically are only going to buy share blocks in the millions. My understanding is they won't look at any company without a minimum of 500,000 shares because it is impossible for them to move in and out of the stock without seriously disrupting the share price. First time posting to ElY, have been a shareholder for a while. Appreciate comments!!

The long and short of this is Head management wants to trade on the NYSE some time unless they put out a news alert to that effect do not worry about it. Would be better if interested to google about R/S AND WHY a company or what ever wants on that exchange. It is good reading and you can print it out just incase you my forget the finer points. Also if i tell you and make a mistake i will feel bad

whittdav211 - Your post caught my eye.  There is no reasonable, provable or logical case in which Ely would profit from a reverse split just to get on a big U.S. exchange which is overdue for a massive crash. The history of reverse splits as they effect junior gold explorers and royalty companies is virtually uniformly bad.  The excuse for the maneuver is to expose the share to

Shylockreturns you are quite right. Yes , yes the share price drop to like 1.86 very quickly very strangely the up and down action was like so mechanical for lack of a better word. Not right anyway. jmo. Monday may tell. Bears watching. Like what you had to say on R/S. sAID MUCH BETTER THAN I WOULD HAVE.

I believe the alogos are wired into what the gold price does, easily done ! That's why they can swing so fast.
