If indeed the CEO is deadset on a reverse split, he is taking a big risk with our capital.

For it to have any chance to succeed, it would have to be done in the atmosphere of a strong breakout in gold and thus far we have seen one or two or more aborted ones.  A reverse split in such a situation would be perilous.

I repeat my negative view of such a move.  I am not saying it would definitely fail, I am saying that carrying it out in a weak or falling gold price climate would be like going to Las Vegas which just so happens to be in the state of Nevada also . . . however, the odds there are not as good as where we are now.

And it is not just an opinion. Historically, some 90 to 97% of such stocks doing reverse splits fail to thrive and in fact are far worse off as the price continues to fall from a higher level.
