MJ Investors Sure Are Hard To Impress

EMH (along with PSF) have released a constant stream of good news regarding contracts, distribution, sales etc.. yet the share price is stuck in this channel. What's it going to take to lift the SP? Is hype what investors really want? Seems to be because building a legit, vertically integrated company doesn't effect volume or SP.

Because with a market cap of 544 million this stuff has already been priced in. we are still not making money. The share price won't likely move until big sales numbers are released showing actual profitability. Then the winners and losers will be known as some companies go down in flames and others stick around. Good chance Emerald is going to be a winner and that's why the market cap is ...more

I agree with your assessment Cal. I too believe nailing down some serious revenues increasing Qtr over Qtr will be the philosopher stone which turns this base stock to gold.

NO intelligent management team is going to invest more dilutuve shareholder capital on more growing space to, sell more than they can and, once said space is saturated, further deflate the value of their commodity. Such is my hope. Do you know how much MJ production Canada-Wide will suffice the market? It''s further complicated ...more

They can easily sell the product.  As years pass the price will come down somewhat however that's not an issue, Puresun Farms cost is only $1/g (and will decrease as they scale), they are a low cost producer.   EMH spent $90 mil on a 0.088 million sq ft facility in Quebec (extremely dilutive) but won't spend $20 mil on a 50% share of a 1.1 million sq ft facility with Puresun ...more

As an investor, you either invest in profitable companies or growing companies (that will one day convert growth to profit).  Unfortunately,  is neither.  With the exception of VFF, which is already flirting with profitability, the entire industry is compelling because of the growth potential.   EMHs stock is stuck in the gutter BECAUSE they refuse to meaningfully how.   ...more

I love this argument: Excessive dilution is how most LPs have grown.. Ergo.. Dilution is good for shareholders and share prices. Good luck with that MO Calgary. Thankfully EMH management isn't as stunned as you.
