When is the merger expected to be finalized?
I bought in here shortly after the IPO, a small position first in my open account, and then at a lower price in my TFSA later...my first Open Account buy was for $3+ and then in my TFSA a little over $2. The shares I bought in my Open account were so far underwater than I more or less just forgot about them...I sold my TFSA shares for a small gain and basically tuned out.
Toward the end of last year a friend asked me if I owned any weed stocks and I told him about Embem, and how it had basically forgetten about it....he'd heard of a CSE listed stock and wanted my opinion, I basically said there were all kinds of companies trying to cash in on the craze for pot stocks and that it might be good for a P&D.
But that conversation got me to look at my Emblem holdings again and I figured a double bottom might be forming so I increased my position significantly...almost ten fold in fact. Then the ALEF merger news came out but the market hasn't reacted as bullishly as I would have liked....but at least we're decently over a buck.
I'm still underwater but not by much....and if my shares converted over with ALEF at $1.64 I make it out to be about a 10% gain.
Sorry for the long winded post, just wanting to know when the deal is expected to go down...assuming of course it does go forward.

It may be criminal for the Emblem IR team to have been aloof in regards to the warrants. Only those with insider knowledge will know for sure if the warrants will be honored. Massive penalties will be well deserved if their families or friends profit from them due to the confusion. Clarifications should have been forthcoming before now either way. Just my 2 cents.

Sorry. No law degree here. The news release makes it clear for options and muddy on warrants. This was intentional and perhaps criminal on IR. The exchange messed up and should have caught it before now. The retail investors have been harmed due to the confusion. Does the exchange care??

Do your homework investor instead of asking questions all the time.
