I for one don't have much faith in information put out by tout sheets....just put out a PR or get coverage from traditional (not paid for) media.

It builds awareness and has access to a new reader base. If you put out a PR you get access to your existing investors, and possibly the chance that some blogger will pick it up. It is about expanding the scope of people who know about the company, and it is working. With these publicity campaigns comes real press when the stories come on the radar of actual legitimate bloggers like the

I consider it tooting one's own horn.....when someone else blows the horn the sound travels much further.  But it is what it is....playing nice with The Street.
