Up 5 cents on low volume?

I've been trying to find some news that would explain such an increase on such low volume.  Can anyone help?  I've been holding for some time now and was resigned to taking a loss on this trade but this sudden rise has given me hope that something positive has taken place, but the low volume doesn't make sense.   Looking forward to another rise but fearing a fall back to .15   :(

Covey I was about to make an identical post, although I can not find a reason for the increase I still have not figured out the huge decline other than there has been absolyely NO news or info from the folks at EPM. did they close the doors?

I cannot post his article (paid service) but Danny Deadlock had a note out today on epk and potash. What I can say is it is apparently a reaction to the changes Canada is implementing on taxing potash producers. Danny's service is well worth the price.

I suppose he has a point but other SOP explorers certainly didn't react like EPK did. Grossly undervalued and sooo tightly wound it's a short walk back to the mid 20's as we witnessed in the past couple of days. When they appointed Bryan from Compass Minerals in the fall I thought they were a takeout target but lack of news or anything at all from the company decimated the share price.

good point about the tax change, i seen an article about it but did not make the connection forgot epm is in the good ole USA. Still makes me think something might be up or why buy now unless they feel we are at bottom.

I also got the sense from the Microcap (Deadlock) article that epk will be in play for a take out given their resource...but that has always been the hope so nothing new there.

Adit123,I don't think you should even be saying anything about Danny with an article out.I'm paying for this service also.The main reason I'm paying is to get it first,not to have another post that Danny has an opinion out.I don't know how the other members feel.I can only speak for myself.Some people,that aren't paying,may buy just because Danny says something about it.That

fordy1: Of course I am a subscriber or I would not know what Deadlock said. And as a subscriber you know darn well he does not care if we just drop a hint of the flavor of his posts. In fact, by doing so we stimulate interest and he probably gets more subscribers. As you know his latest on EPK was detailed and said a lot more important things than the brief, rather vague, comment I passed along
