ENS pref issue - YTM 7.3%

How do they get a yield to maturity of 7.3% when issued at $10? Isn't the current yield 5.3%?

Can someone explain this for me?

Maybe they made a mistake.  You could email them and ask.

No mistake, with renewal of the fund the new preferred's yield 7%

With that said, this takes effect as of June 30 and beyond. So most recent ex date and July payment is actually old distribution. The following ex dates starting next quarter will see the raise.
