Please show some love to Experienced for his efforts to contribute to this board. 

IMO, he is the 2nd (hehe) best poster on Stockhouse. Heh, I suffer from delusions of grandeur with the best of 'em.  

I know this board has a small audience by the small number of reads, but that doesn't mean we can't be a great board.  I hope more posters will share their thoughts and ideas as we can learn from everyone. 

My Dad had a large collection of "life experience" sayings.  My favourite was "even a bad idea is better than no idea at all".  Other than the intended sarcasm, the message was that threshing out why an idea is bad stimulates thinking that often leads to clarity.

I have high respect for you Obscure1 and also Experienced and the knowledge shared with the rest of us common folk :) I took an initial position in CPX after reading a post from Experienced and doing a little homework on my own. It has turned out well so far. While I hold stocks and some arguably riskier ones like ENS I'm in Experienced camp with regard to a likely stock market dump in the ...more

Thanks for your kind words cttglvr.... One of the things about financials which IMO is not thought or talked about is the impact of AI on the banking sector.  In my crystal ball I see tremendous productivity gains coming to this sector through the use of AI.  If I am right about this, then we see above growth in earnings and dividend growth which to me is not currently reflected in the ...more
