Company buy back

Why would the company be buying back it's shares if things were going down hill? Maybe something is coming soon so they are taking some shares off the market for a bigger bounce when something comes out? Any thoughts

Financials should be out soon, where I would expect to see positive cash flow, otherwise, where are they getting the money for a NCIB? Positive cash flow was Konrad's next goal for shareholder value so yeah, I expect another bump in a few days personally. mho b
