Empower Clinics Inc > One reason for drop in price this week.

One reason for drop in price this week.

Here’s why the stock went down this week. Andrea Klein, whom along with her husband ran Sun Valley Clinics sold around 2 million shares on Monday when CBDT peaked. Sun Valley was acquired by Empower last year, and the couple were bought out, receiving millions of shares in CBDT instead. Steve posted yesterday that this matter of Klein selling is now ”being adressed”, which has also allegedly resulted in Sun Valley being removed from Empower Clinics website.

All in all, it was simply an insider cashing out which dropped the stock. The intrinsic value of the company has NOT changed of course, this is simply an act of greed, or someone wanting to buy a new house while not caring about CBDTs investors.

CBDT is still a 2+ dollar stock. The only difference is that now we have to hold strong and push it back up. Are we really going to let one insider decide the success of this stock? This is an amazing company with a terrific and experienced CEO and has unlimited growth potential. Stay strong, and GLTA. 1.8 next week.

Did the same research just now. If I were Steve I would be looking for a new V.P of Operations. Created a real problem for the CEO.  Have to question her political smarts.  A lot of us most likely picked up her shares.  She opened the door for the hedge funds to short the heck out of this.  Should be confirmed with the new short report in about a week.  The only good thing ...more

Yup just like robinhood killed the gamestop squeeze  the Kleins helped with the short attack to kill the run.  Makes you wonder if it could have hit dollars and helped Steve get on the Nasdaq.  I would be pissed at them and question loyalty and decision making here.

Bad Karma for the Kleins!!

This really stinks. Hopefully Steve will take swift action to deal with them. Very negative comments on them on numerous chat boards. The rest of the Management group will have a hard time trusting them. Would be nice to see them bought out, and the sooner the better.

From Simply Wall st. It is not uncommon to see companies perform well in the years after insiders buy shares. Unfortunately, there are also plenty of examples of share prices declining precipitously after insiders have sold shares.

If Steve was the one selling shares now then yes, I would be concerned, but as far as I know he hasn't sold a single share and hasn't even exercised his warrants yet. And even if he did, after being with CBDT for almost a year and witnessing how he has turned the company around, I would wait for his explanation first before selling my shares. He has proven to be a man of his word over and ...more

profit taking happens, sunvalley clinics got millions in shares in the purchase by empower, they sold 2 million shares last week at market, wasnt the single biggest reason but a big factor of the volatility! dont blame them, should of held it to a limit price

I always like to hear what you have to say GalAnonymous.  There are lots of others on here with great posts as well.  Steve and CBDT have my vote too.  I plan on staying the course.  The stock can't go up every day so we should expect some dips along the way.  Steve and the team are still heading in the right direction as expected.  I confidently have my faith in ...more

OMG people the amount of shares the Klein's sold make up so little percent of the overall shares that were traded during the week.  Big institutions sold far more, as did the shorters.   Insider selling is definitley not the reason for the drop! The reason for the drop is simple, the stock was overbought technically, while a pullback was occuring in the broader markets at the same ...more

Excellent post, Invio! While I think (and I believe Steven McAuley appears to do so as well) that the timing was poor and the optics worse the shares they sold represent a fraction of what they were given when the Sun Valley Clinics Company was acquired in April of 2019. Here is a quote... "....issued the Vendors an aggregate of 22,058,823 common shares in the capital of the Company (each ...more
