I was trying to stay away but this is, as inviola said, a total manipulation. Seems like no one wants to invest in a solid company anymore but simply reap profits from shady trading practices. I'm getting pretty peeved but not selling a single share. If they continue to play their petty games, I'll simply add more as they tank the price. I'm sure when we see the numbers this will turn

Shorting is a disgusting way to trade a stock I am amazed that it is legal it definitely makes it hard to build a portfolio of promising companies.How many viable start ups have been killed by shorting.

They can't borrow your shares to short a stock, you own them.  Shorts have to borrow shares from the company that runs your trading platform.  So for example, if you were trading with RBC then RBC investor trading would have bought shares in empower and the shorters would be borrowing their shares to short with.  If your trading plateform doesn't have any shares to borrow

This is certainly not a short attack.  Why would shorts try to short a stock that is oversold and has low volume?  That would be a very high risk short that's not worth taking the chance on when there are so many overbought stocks across the sectors which would be an easy target to short.  The stock is being sytematically walked down by the institutions because they simply can

Yeah, March has been a disaster of a month.  I'm with you the manipulators won't get a single share of mine.  There's too much going on with this company for the share price to remain down for much longer.  Like I said I got a feeling that it's being held down until the clearing house is open.

GalAnonymous posted a few days ago about the signs of bashers and  shorters.  The fact they only attack good companies ought to give some reassurance this is a great company. sorry Charles I totally disagree. This company is being held down by manipulation during a market correction. I like many on this board am not selling a single share and in fact have money set aside if they manipulate it down that far. Ridiculous things like "make believe Steve" and "this garbage isn't worth 50 cents" might have tricked a lot more shareholders in the past
