OK Bashers Here are the Facts

If you look at the May 19 press release and compare it to the Press release today the following has happened:

New as of August 11th

Signed leases with construction underway
4 sites (none under construction as of May 19th)

Signed leases
2 on May 19th now 4 new ones (moved from pending) on August 11th

This now means that we have 8 signed leases with 4 of these under construction

Pending LOIs & Leases
5 on August 11th

That is not bad progress in less than 3 months knowing that this takes time.  Also, recruitment of physicians is ongoing.

Maybe not as quickly as some would like but the bashers are really out of control on this.  Get out if you don't like the progress but the over the top bashing is really ridiculous

Fact that recruiting is ongoing? Im atill trying to figure out where all these people are comming from with the shortage in canada and not one of you empower fluffers can justify this.... as for the clinics anyone can sign a lease for anything we need to see proof of the construction, we need numbers, we need revenue.. this motherf**ker has only been lip service from the begginning

Universities graduate new doctors every year.  And we have several unitversities with a Faculty of Medicine.  Plus you have current doctors looking for a change of scenery or new opportunities and you have new doctors coming in from other countries.  Really, you're wondering where they could possibly be coming from?

Man there is a huge doctor shortage in canada... havent you ever stopped to wonder why wait times in hospitals are 4+ hours, or why it could be 1-2week waiting period to get into to see a dr at a clinic?  Gezz you know what mr.illiter8 you make a valid point...... now be a good boy invisiblespirit and go back

You really can't be this intecllectually challenged.  First of all, wait times are not like that for family doctors everywhere.  I can typically book in to see my doctor same day or next day.  Specialists are a completely different situation, but that doesn't apply to Empower.   As for emergency wait times, they are based on the severity of the case.  Do honestly

So wait your telling me that the wait time would be the exact same with ten doctors as it would be with two doctors,  i knew easterns were slightly cousin f**ker retarded but i didnt think the retardation went that far... most family doctors west of onterrible are at a minimum of three days and for a good solid family dr it could be up to two weeks in alberta so enlighten me again how isnt

Hahaha, that's funny that your argument is based on your belief that I live in Ontario.  Then you use Alberta as your example.  Sorry, where are the clinics going up first?  You make me laugh.

Who cares where they go up? Isnt alberta and ontario both part of this country? You'd think with 13 grades you'd be a bit smarter? What's even funnier is that of all the hospitals you could have chosen from Alberta, Red Deer Regional currently has the lowest wait time of all of them.

But like I said wait time in emergency is based on how severe the injury is.

You also have to love that the bashers will tell you in one breath that there's no doctors availabe to staff a clinic, but in the next breath say that even with doctors when they open the clinics they won't have a client base.  lol  With a shortage of doctors, the moment they open a clinc they will easily establish a client base.  Sorry guys you can't bash both ways
