Tanzania Upstream Outlook Shows Increased Activity in 2021

Unlike in the neighboring Kenya and Uganda the country continues to see ongoing activity largely driven by the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) on the exploration side in its fully operated licences as well other international oil companies both onshore and offshore. These activities are also fueled by the government’s target to add another extra 5 trillion cubic feet of natural gas by the end of the year to drive discovered reserves to over 62TCF.
