Speaking as Eritrean i can confirm the disputed area is in the western part of the both countriesmore than 1000 km away from FED portion, and the disputed town is called “Badme” which is currently under Ethiopian occupation for a good reason.  The eastern part has never been disputed eventhough it was battleground for the port town of Assab.
