Midas??
This isn't a slam dunk by any means!
Look at Mr. Doman's past record and see the carnage he left from his tenure with Doman Industries.
U.S. Housing may be at the bottom, but it's a long way to recovery, and there's plenty of lumber production to come back into the market at current prices and higher. Sawmilling is not going to be an easy road for a startup venture.
Unless he has a Midas touch...be careful.
(although.....it was interesting to see over 4 million shares trade hands late today)
Anybody know what that was about?

Frank Giustra owns 8 million shares. He has the midas touch. That's a good thing :-)

CHECK YOUR FACTS Hedger777DomanIndustries was well respected by its employees. The company managed itstenures very well. Some other companies may not have.

That may be true Sassy....but the company still went BANKRUPT under Rick Doman's watch.My point was more questioning Mr. Doman's abilities and whether he can take a start-up company and succeed when he couldn't save what was once a very rich and valuable company.
