Special Committee

Can anyone shed any light on what the implications of the formation of this committee are?

The press release is quite vague and I am wondering if anyone has any insights on this? It is causing me to make some exciting speculations...

All I can say is this is a good sign. Lots of interest in this play and this will only increase the speculation on the company value. Look for another leg up in the coming days.

Strange that it is down today.    It has been on a tear lately, but even still, they would not be forming a committee if people were approaching them with lowball offers under the current stock price.  Can't see any reason to sell on this news (unless it was already out in the rumour market).  Think some arb players would be interested too.

Just nervous hands that don't know what they're doing. We should see a positive close by the end of the day. The company announced a strategic review...nothing has happened yet. I see a potential merge or asset acquisition. If it was Eacom being acquired they would need to disclose the party that made the offer.  This is just retail investors selling their shares ...more

It was a mixed day with other wood companies. CFP,TMB,WEFand NBD were all down. Should get an idea where we are going on Jan. 21 with TMB report. Regards Rainham
