Looks like the take-over is not going ahead as planned__offer has been extended for another month!

 

Maybe this means that they know they don't have enough shares tendered to the 38 cent offer to meet the 2/3 requirement?

If they only have 44% of the total outstanding shares, that would mean that only the management's team and Canaccord'sshares were tendered. All other shares are still in the hands of retail investors and/or other institutional firms. Only insiders have tendered their shares. Kelso and Eacom still have a lot of selling to do to get to 66 2/3% of the shares. If they go on the ...more

Wonder if Resolute Forest Products would be interested in Eacom? The President Richard Garneau just commented this week that they are on the market for Saw Mills in Eastern Canada. Would be interesting to see if they would make a unsolicitated run for Eacom seeing that Rick Doman just announced that he expects sales to go from $300million this year  to $500million next year.
