The drop in the price of oil is beyond what anyone ever expected.  But supply and demand will get closer together at some point.  Everthing always seems to get overdone on the up and the down side. Fuel prices are lower the world over, but the change hasn't come anywhere near to the crude drop.  Refiners margins have gone up and the taxes at the pump still need to be paid. Here ...more

Don't worry about the crude oil price and pirats. The price will slowly go up again, but it is not really our concern. What is important for more country is the tax evasion and in most of the european countris the taxes don't depend of the oil price. Most of the countries tax  per liter.

If it is, the sellers do not understand. That article is about crude oil theft. The European tender is for a replacement marker in an established diesel fuel market. This diesel gets marked regardless of swings in energy prices.

Well explained, in most of the european countries it is called "excise taxes". Taxes based on the volume and not on the price of oil, diesel or kerosene.
