OSI Systems discloses SEC, DoJ probes in wake of Muddy Waters report

OSIS) -18.3% after-hours following its disclosure that the SEC has
launched an investigation into the company's compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
OSIS says the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California also has said it would request information regarding FCPA compliance.
OSIS says the probes are in response to a short seller; Muddy Waters has accused the company bribed its way to win a major contract in Albania (
I,
II).
The SEC and DOJ also are investigating trading in the company’s securities, and have subpoenaed relevant information from executives, directors and employees.
