NEWMONT TIMMINS - ( EV Nickel very close prox )
Operates several gold mines in - Timmins.
EV Nickel is in the backyard of, Newmont.
Newmont has recently expressed it's interest in,
NewCrest.
It's not going over too well,
shareholders are not liking the deal...
find it too expensive.
To top it off....
As fast as gold has risen, it's now dropping.
What market continues to excell ?
Battery metals....of course.
Perhaps - Seeking Alpha - should do a piece on,
benefits of, Newmont looking in thier backyard.
crunch some numbers - see if Newmont is missing the
boat on batrery metals -
And why not.... ?
Appears Timmins could be the next - Sudbury known for nickel.
Even the mine minister has pointed out their are ( 4 ) large
nickel depoists in thier vicinity.
Billion tonne style resources - hard ot come by.
HYPOTHETICALS ( supposing Seeking Alpha did a writeup )
- evni was using river for near free power
- evni used a nitrogen extractant
- Newmont using the angle of - nickel electrolysis
- Newmont making nickel metal
- Newmont - hydrogen cars, ev cars, hydrogen energy
What would be great ?
If evni had in hand - studies on laterite ores - nitrogen recoveries
using CSIRO nitric extraction models.
Bulk testing would be - of the order.
Sending ores to - CSIRO - asking to perform
thier 2 - nitrogen extraction models -
looking to see how high of recoveries could be achieved
and if both kinds of nickel ( sulphide + silicate ) recoveries
could increase over all grades...
See if the magnesium is rejected and only,. Ni + Co are accepted.
HECK... one could make thier own nitrogen.
And... even a portion of the nitrogen used can be recaptured.
Saving additonal costs.
Throw in... potnetial river for free energy...
Makes a compelling case for ....
SUPER GRENE MINE MODEL.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here's Seeking Alpha's low down on Newmont;'s
radical ideal.... wanting Newcrest...
Most are - against this idela - thinking it's too
expensive -
What tihs article points out is,
March 13 2023 -
Newmont increased thier offer from 17 billion to $22.4 billion
That's a 4.4 billion increase....lol
Hey.. throw evni a billion - lol
And as mentioned in prior post - 1.2 billion tonnes of ore
with a good 40,000 tonnes day operation
could easily run - 75+ yrs... long term mining - majors love this.
with a bonus 10 km strike - showing more signs of nickel.
Newmont's Timmins Dome facility - does have an electrolysis plant
Again... such close prox to - EV Nickel.
Far better working the - nickel metal angle - than, cons.
Would keep the nickel metal in - North America.
Maybe Newmont needs to hire new advisors - lol
Tease....

Cheers.....
