This is truly pathetic.  Other than collecting attractive salaries, I am not really sure what management has been up to.  They practically paid Ketu Petroleum to farm in to PPL 259 with the surrender of 20% of Stanley unitization ownership.  Farm ins negotiated by Eaglewood were always at discounts to what others were able to negotiate in the same area.  And now with supposedly ...more

Lets hope you are right but I have a very bad feeling this isn't gonna get much better for us.  The .38 is an absolute joke and EWD management should be ashamed of themselves.

Voting against it will do nothing, the company has thrown in the towel.  Only possible good is some other companies come in with a higher bid.  In any event, some company is getting one hell of a deal. Ice

My entry price was mid 40's with the word that a buy out was very soon. I hung on and then was told price of buyout at about 74 Cents . I hung on and then the price would be 45 to 47 and then maybe a liuttle lower than that. Mgmt has little to gain in the form of existing options as the last grant was June 2013 and the price was around $0.34 and grants prior thereto would not have been much better.  However, the CEO has 4m performance units at a cost of $0.  In a sale all options and performance units will vest so he'll get about $1.5m pre-tax from the performance units (assuming the performance units ...more
