So FanDuel and DraftKings settle with NY AG, volunteering to withdraw from NY until September. So short term DFS is banned in the state, until new laws governing it get voted on in September earliest.

That should read the appeal is decided in September on the current question of legality. Two separate bills are being considered though they won't see committee of voting for a while it seems. The highest probability bill would see a one time upfront $500K fee. This would be applied against future tax obligations. Still lots to pony up for smaller sites. The settlement is for the two big one - Fan Duel and Drafte king - from my understanding all others cn continue to operate in NY

True. there is a challenge for credit card processing for some DFS operators. Is FAS effected?
