What news?  The 4.5 cents/fbk share one-time distribution of Abitibi shares?  I think that would only add 4.5 cents of value but should also save the company some ongoing litigation expense.  As others have commented on other boards, it should offset the movement of the Cdn $ for Q4 2010, however so should the reduced interest expense by paying off debt recently, lower fiber costs ...more

i think that even though the Abitibi shares are worth only 4.5-5.0 cents to FBK's bottom line, it is still worth $6 million, which, when added to the $24mil in cash they already have, will go a long way to paying off the $49 mil in convertible debentures; i'm not sure i agree that FBK will massively dilute the stock at $1.30 in a financing to pay this offwhy would they dilute when the ...more

I hope that they don't dilute.  I think/hope (if all goes well) they will be able to swing it from cash flows and, if necessary, operating line of credit.  I was suggesting that analysts are 'assuming' that they are diluting which means they may significantly raise their price targets if FBK ends up NOT diluting.
