IR Update

I spoke with IR (Richard Wertheim)  today and as you would expect for this time of year things are very busy for Forterra as they edge closer to the always critical Spring order season.   FTE held a board meeting just over a week ago which included a trip through the current facility.   Richard said that there was a sense of optimism with regards to sales expectations for this year; however this is still just optimism and the company still needs to deliver on this optimism.

During the tour Rick Denyes explained new production methods that have resulted in a significant increase in the worm breeding productivity and castings production.  This increased production indicates a higher level of output the current plant can achieve and should enable the company to defer for a while at least the investment they had expected to need to make later this year  for a second plant.  Also the new production methods will result in some significantly lower costs.

The Weed Man franchises will be distributing samples of FTE product to current and potential customers and then will be taking orders through Weed Man to Forterra.  The company is very optimistic about this however they do not know what the sales volume will be over the coming months through this arrangement.

The National Supplier that was mentioned in the Outlook NR is not Weed Man; however the National Supplier will play a role in distributing product to the Weed Man franchises.  This is not the principal opportunity with this supplier however; as it will serve as a channel for other major markets, as well.   Forterra has asked for permission to release the name of the National Supplier, however for their own reasons, including competitive issues they will not permit Forterra to release the name at this time.

That's it.  Confirmation to remain positive as we inch closer to Spring.

Best of luck

Stockington

Great job, Stockington... Thanks for the informative post. I think we're in for a breakout very soon and this Spring should provide us with the solidified sales contracts that were due from last year. FTE seems to have found a new base at .04, which will serve, I believe, as a lift off point for the next positive news release. Good luck everyone!
