There is a lot of things Canada needs to do. We have to drastically increase our defence spending for one, and Trump will force that issue. We can point out that roads to the north, and infrastructure in general may be considered defence spending, and unlike tanks, guns, ships and aircraft these assets will still have significant value 50 to 100 years from now. Linking the power grid would be great. More roads would be great. A port on the Arctic to maintain ships and a presence would be great.
