Should we expect another NR for ESJV?

I am not sure what the going rate is for cost of drilling, but 15 - 20,000 m worth at Eau Claire seems low to me for having $8.75 million in FT money to spend as well as having at least $9 million in cash after that.

Thinking the same.  The only possible explanation is they are really focused and know what to drill. They are always open to a takeout and may want to use the cash to attract a bid.  They don't want to spend much on drilling because the next step is too costly.  These guys don't want to build anything, just want to transact exit to their personal benefit of course..

I can understand that point of view, and I definitely share your general cynisim, but, t the same time, I'm not sure why Newmont would bother doing a JV with Fury at ESJV if they did not expect them to be pulling their weight on the project. Sirios's Cheechoo deposit indicates that the higher grade portion of their open pit constrained model is right on the border of Fury's ESJV ...more

Good morning   I am a shareholder of SOI and not of Fury.   The deposit of cheechoo indeed continues on the side of Fury, however what we can deduce by looking at the results of the surveys, is that the deposit begins on the side of fury on the surface and plunges in depth towards the property of Sirios, otherwise says the bulk of the deposit is on the cheechoo side.
