No strain names, no differentiation between sativa and indic

Does anyone know why cannimed refrains from giving information regarding strain name and whether the products are indica, sativa or hybrid? I like other facts about this company like the share structure, being on the tsx and that they have been in business a long time. However, the aforementioned missing details about their products keep me from entering. In my opinion these are essential in a competitve market. Without these, i do not think they will be successful once recreational use will be legal.. thoughts?

Cannimed has no intention of entering the recreational market. The CEO clearly states that in his BNN interview on the IPO day.  CMED is a pharmaceutical brand. Look up their GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). This is something I would look for as well when purchasing but perhaps I do not understand the phytochemistry behind it all. My understanding was a sativa would encourage activity where as an indica results in a more mellow and laid back effect. Or does it just go by THC / CBD and an equivalent THC level of either will give the same result? I would think there are medical applications for ...more
