Cheap shares now

2.2 times book value and 2.4 times sales.....ipo was around $12.......in the medical space and will likely have a retail strategy going forward....have a couple of big facilities all ready and waiting.....quantitative value is $11.26 according to morningstar...good luck longs

All good stuff, yet we are trading at $8.77. Thoughts on broker choices when they went public.  You get a Cannaccord or Cormark behind you, they wouldn't have let it drift this far?  True?  I'm grasping. Skater

the market is not efficient and that creates opportunities like today to buy this dirt cheap...this company has roots with start up in 2013 but prevously the main supplier since 2000 under the name Prairie Plant Systems and was the SOLE supplier to Health Canada for cannabis... the company is established and well positoned with its facilities for growth going forward....the other factor is that ...more

Previously private so who knows but I assumed they would have been making money being a sole supplier and was surprised when the first round of financials came out. Market Cap and key ratios are not in sync with the rest of the sector. GMP and export sales ...more

I believe their user base is different from the other lps.....oils are more then half their sales.....I have spoken to drs, not family physicians, but specialists in cancer and other disciplines and they are prescribing more and more cannibis to non traditional cannibis user.....ie no previous experience with cannibis.....the other lps are being fed mostly by the cannibis clinics....they all ...more

Cannimed is already running a pilot test with Great-West Lifeco to be covered by benefits. Posted about it months ago. Lot's of rec user's hiding behind medical right now. People going to companies like Broken Coast are just looking for the most chronic buds on the market. CMED is aiming for the the true medical market that respected doctors will prescribe.
