tic tock

I was a Long in acb but i sold and bought cmed. what I had with aurora still is less than what I will have street the merge conversion of 2.9 or 3.4 outs a fackin beauty . I'll admit it does kill just waiting for the merge. I'm with td warehouse investing. I do it all from my easy web account. over never paid capital gains and it's tac free account. Will the transfer just automatically happen or do i have to notify my investment broker at td?

I'm with RBC, and was curious on the same thing: If I decide to go with the 3.4x deal (which I'd like to do), will I wake up one morning to find my shares have been converted over or do I have to call the back to let them know which option I choose? I'm assuming the all stock deal is default.

Yiu shouldn't have to. By default it will get converted - HOWEVER- there is a delay meaning you wont be able to make any transactions during the conversion period and RBC is painfully slow. This is from personal experience with other stocks.
