LAC GUERET PROPERTY
Before Mason Resources there was
Quinto + SOQUEM
Lac Gueret was divided into 2 zones ( north + south )
In 2000, Quinto and SOQUEM (Qubec City, QC) entered a joint exploration agreement wherein Quinto was responsible for the north claims which included Quinto’s holdings while SOQUEM operated the claims south of the present property, named Lac Guret Sud.
Mason dropped some claims and kept the rest.
Green Battery, now has the southern Gueret claims ( known as Berkwood )
and added several other claims groups.
SOQUEM is a leader in Quebec's mineral exploration industry.
As a subsidiary of Investissement Qubec, its mission is to promote the exploration, discovery, and development of the province's mineral resources.
Investissement Qubec
Investissement Qubec is a company established in 1998 under an act passed by the National Assembly of Quebec to favour investment in Quebec by Quebec-based and international companies. Its registered office is located in Quebec City. In December 2010 it took over the Socit gnrale de financement.
SOQUEM into diamonds ?
Ashton-SOQUEM recent discovery of eight diamond-bearing kimberlitic chimneys on ... "Kimberlites and diamonds in Northern Qubec",
In my former post i outlined Mason's claims ( north lac gueret ) does show
monzonite / zircon geology in pdf link.
In this Quebec Geo Report,
It mentiond the geology for north and south lac geuret properties.
South geuert = berkwood ( keep in mind gem has upper claims near mason too )
G12a = south geuret
Gagnon Group
typically contain
medium to coarse quartz, plagioclase, biotite, muscovite, garnet, and dark green amphibole
https://gq.mines.gouv.qc.ca/documents/examine/GM61964/GM61964.pdf
There are actually two minerals known as jade in the gemstone trade. Nephrite (an amphibole) and jadeite (a pyroxene) are nearly indistinguishable by someone new to gems
Secondary Diamond
Zircon has very high relief and high birefringence.
It is often found as inclusions in biotite
Secondary Diamond
Moissanite is naturally occurring silicon carbide
Berkwood Resource cutoff grade
What would 6.9% and under graphite ores look like ?
= more quartz silicate / biotites
Graphite peers used 150 mesh grind.
5x smaller than gem.
Why vct fluff air separation ?
= only large flakes are kept ( lol )
what's the stock symbol of this company ?
Gem needs to chip test 1km x 1km west berkwood ( all open outcrop )
resift 19.2 million tonnes waste
carbon, graphitem moissanite, zircon, jade, silicon carbide
and ask what does Investment quebec ( international investors )
think of new MNR rules.
Peers other than, nou, ngc
should form union to challenge mnr and quebec province
on basis of, listed stocks need funding, and need to advance otherwise investors
monies are at stake. Bulk tonnage needs to be reinstated allowing juniors to send
tonnage samples to potential - tech jv's.
silicon carbide + zircon + moissanite
= diamond chips
if you're stumbling on, silicon carbide id not diamond ?
guess again. Diamonds are hardend silica carbon ( carbide ) + gas building crystals. H2
Most all Quebec Graphite junior's are very silent.
Pin drop.
Cheers....

Quebec is a mining friendly jurisdiction to Qubec companies. Unless GEM is able to conduct all business in Quebec in French we are dead in the water.
