I have been in / out of GNC 3 times alreadly with some some nice little gains. Can you take  a look at GNC  and from just a pure trading perspective tell me what you thinlk? Its looking like it going to break down to around 6 cents then dead cat bounce back to around 9 cents. This will provide a nice little return on ...more

Hey Lockdown, I traded GNC for breakeven.  I decided I didn't know enough about the name and bailed. The chart looks like an inkblot to me.  RCG blew a hole in my trading account and it will take time for other investments to repair the damage done. Glad it was contained to the trading account.  Did you sell your GDPEF ? I have not touched mine. It just sits there in my ...more

Lockdown, Yeah. My account says zero for PDGEF too. Did you actually sell ? Did you get anything for it ? RCG completely wiped out my gains from an earlier investment. Some might say I was playing with house money. I don't see it that way.  I have multiple plays in my portfolio. Wins/Losses are part of the game. A pure loss is nasty.

Leftbook, I am more interested in where the tax credits resurface? They are worth at least 10 million to a company according to Jack and some company that is producing can offer almost nothing to the secured creditors and unsecured to take them.  That would mean that former RCG shareholders would get some cash back "( 5 million, etc..) between all the shares. You would think out of 10 ...more

Damian, I am also curious to see where the tax cedits end up. My understanding is that it would have to be a reverse take over. It is not possible for a producing company to acquire RCG for the credits. The reverse take over has to be from the mining space. Did Jack really say that the tax cedits were worth $10M ?

Advantages and Disadvantages of Reverse Mergers  Reverse mergers can allow a private company to come public for lower cost, and quicker, than an IPO. Reverse mergers can get companies to the public market in less than a month. As well, unlike conventional IPOs that can be canceled if the equity markets are performing poorly, reverse mergers aren’t generally put on hold. Many private ...more
