There goes my investment?

Why do I think, "There goes my investment" ?

TORONTO, Dec.11, 2015 /CNW/ - DELISTING REVIEWGeologix Explorations Inc. (the Company) – TSX is reviewing the common shares (GIX.TO) of the Company with respect to meeting the continued listing requirements. The Company has been granted 120 days in which to regain compliance with these requirements, pursuant to the Remedial Review Process.

Something makes me think that 120 days won't be enough time in light of the past 2 years.

On the other hand, perhaps delisting may be a good money saving strategy! I mean if you don't want to buy or sell for a few years, maybe the junior market will rebound down the road and GIX can hold on until then if our expenses are drastically cut. Its not like anything is happening with the company anyways so this will only hurt people wanting to trade the stock.

Don't be an idiot. They r just going to venture. Things are happening. Talk to company and get an update. Geologix will be moving up in 2016. Mark my words.

Nice peterot...it seems like you are a well meaning optimist.  What I have found trustworthy is not what CEOs etc. will tell an inquiring investor but what they are willing to put out in writing, be it in a press release or financials both of which I follow for Geologix.  Perhaps you meant to say, "I disagree vs. you are an idiot"?  The latter only reflects badly on the ...more

If you read the release you would know there intention is to move to the venture. Hence the idiot comment.

Well like I said before, you appear to be an optimist, though not very introspective when it comes to matters of civility.  In reading the press release below, you might note that GIX may be losing its listing due to factors which might be of concern to you, me, and other shareholders -- namely due to its current share price and lack of exploration activity.   You might also note ...more

TSX delisting is a non-issue at this time. Nobody seems to care where a junior miner is listed these days. The issue with GIX and so many others  is survival without massive dilution and the warrants that go witth it. I am really surprised that nobody has made a takeover attempt or merger with GIX. There are some companies out there with a lot of money  and very modest property that ...more

I agree moonshot5.  I also would have figured that they would have done a merger in the past.  With a projected After Tax IRR of 27.7% and a After Tax Payback Period of 3.2 yrs., you would think they would have been an attractive target, of course, that was based on 2013 figures with copper at $3.44, gold at $1,286 and silver at $23.68.  I believe managment always wanted a little ...more

Sorry about the idiot comment. I will keep things more civil. I have bought more than 650,000 shares in the last week so I am doing more than my part to keep the share price supported. However, that is not my intent. I want it to crash so I can buy shares. I have been waiting two years for these prices. Besides the rock bottom share price there are no red flags with this company or the project ...more

Peterot wrote "2016 will be a year Geologix continues to advance the project. I expect a merger or buyout in the next twelve months." Sorry to say, that is not going to happen. The old 2013 PEA made things look very good with the 2013 metal prices, but at today's metal prices (any and all of them) the project is a terrible investment - witness the SP price today - and we have yet to ...more

Not sure what you are talking about. You should take a look at their Metal Price Sensitivity Analysis. This project would likely turn a small profit or worse case break even in this market. AISC are sensitive to metal prices but because of the very low cost of production they are able to with stand the bear phases. During bull phases this project is a cash machine. I am not saying this project is ...more
