read the new presentation..nothing really new ....    i don't believe a deal will come this year because copper will stay low for some more years...    GIX will need more money soon ... there will be a PP anounced soon

Hard to explain the recent price rice from .02 to .055, with little current resistance up to .08 Can't be because of the price of metals because a) gold has flirted with $1200 before and GIX didn't repond in kind and b) copper hasn't gone up like gold has recently One could argue that .02 was an unfair price but I wonder if there is a JV in the works. Just speculation on my part. But ...more

Ok Eeyore, thanks for your input.  I for one think I´ll have more trust in credible analysts like ADORA who did the following a year back. The number today speaks even more in GIX favour; "Here’s a more in depth analysis of Torex Gold and Geologix Explorations mine Tepal. Both are located near each other in Mexico so they are good objects to compare. This comparison shows Tepals ...more

Gotta love those assumptions--   IRR: 34% after tax at $1518/oz gold & $3,71/lb copper Let's see when we are even close to those target prices.... $3.71 copper....wow.

Well done!! You have plucked out one end of their sensitivity scale - the one that at the time used 3 year rolling average metal prices. The pre-feasibility actualy used 4 year rolling averages of $1390 for Au and $3.44 for Cu for an IRR of 28%. While still high by todays prices they were valid then. Lots of studies from the tome would have used similar metal prices - not that thehy would now ...more

Thanks for the information though I was just responding to the recent post citing those figures.  My point being (whether using either of the 3 or 4 rolling average prices) is that the IRR figure being stated needs to be re-examined by shareholders in light of the current and projected copper prices for the next few years.  Its easy to focus on a high IRR figure but are the earlier ...more

You are right that the prices for Cu and Au in the model are not correct today, I wrote clearly that this analyse by Adora was made more than a year ago. My meaning was to highlight the enormous difference in mcap between the companies mentioned, and even with todays prices this difference is still ridiculous. And finally, that post was meant as a response to "kkkrrr" who clearly see ...more

I agree 100% Badswede......Its only a matter fo time before this stock takes off. Any type of financing or JV will require a re-adjustment of price. I believe this will happen in the near future. I mean really..... Look at the board of directors and ownership of Management!
