I'm curious if anyone
can explain the rational for picking up the Chicarron project?
I've mulled this over for a couple months and can't figure out why they wanted to bring such an early stage project this into SSP, which is basically a development company at this point?
Any wisdom/insight would be appreciated.

Quid pro quo. Gran Colombia becomes the largest shareholder in SSP and now SSP takes a stake in one of Gran Colombia's projects. Not a fan of Colombia and will not invest in any operators out of Colombia, but the Chicarron project is obviously not SSP's bread and butter - that would be Toroparu.
