I was talking to my broker about GLK and she feels this stock will possibly never trade again on this exchange. The Cease Trade Order is in place as GLK does not qualify to be on the exchange.
“Upon revocation of the cease trade order, the company's shares will remain suspended until the company meets TSX Venture Exchange requirements. Members are prohibited from trading in the securities of the company during the period of the suspension or until further notice”.
The companies market cap is too low (5 million needed) and the company has not had meaningful revenue for several years as required by the exchange. To make matters worse management has repeatedly issued news releases about revenue generating orders which pumped the stock but failed to produce either revenue or orders. In short with our managements credibility, it will be very hard to get the cease trade order lifted. She found the timing of the private placement announcement (same day as cease trade order) strikingly coincidental.
