Legendary investor Warren Buffett advises to be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful. One way we can try to measure the level of fear in a given stock is through a technical analysis indicator called the Relative Strength Index, or RSI, which measures momentum on a scale of zero to 100. A stock is considered to be oversold if the RSI reading falls below 30.
In trading on Thursday, shares of GLENTEL Inc (Toronto: GLN) entered into oversold territory, hitting an RSI reading of 26.6, after changing hands as low as $15.72 per share. By comparison, the current RSI reading of the S&P/TSX Composite Index is 54.6. A bullish investor could look at GLN’s 26.6 RSI reading today as a sign that the recent heavy selling is in the process of exhausting itself, and begin to look for entry point opportunities on the buy side.

On Aug 16, option expiry day, GLN closed at the low of the day at $13.53, RSI of 15.50. Since Aug 1, the RSI remains below 20. Selling has not abated. There is no love for this sick puppy.

Wow, this piece of trash is getting killed. Down every day since the earnings report. Company was buying stock back in the 17's, now we're in the $12's and no buying. Where's the bottom for this dog? Obviously the "finalist for entrepreneur of the year" award to our CEO wasn't calculated based on shareholder returns.

Well - it looks like lots of small trades from a variety of houses which suggests a lot of non-insititutional traders probably getting stopped out - It will be interesting to see if it falls to below its year low at which point you may well see higher volumes as the institutional traders start getting stopped out - especially if it falls below $10.00 at which some investment funds will pull the ...more

Well I averaged down some a few days ago,and it looks better now in my account. I think if we get a huge correction in September or October,it could go lower, but this company has alot going for it. and  I'm  a very patient and long termer.Although I bought in at the near highs,my average is now around $14.40,so not too bad.
