New shares to be issued

Nothing stopping GME from Issuing 50 million shares at say $50.00 to the hedge fund is there?

GME would raise $2.5 billion in cash and the price would crash to $40.00 while also bailing out the hedge funds that are short.

Anyone know?

If this is possible for the company then GME is a great short very soon... like in the first two hours tomorrow. Thanks in advance for the info if anyone has actual legal knowlege on this. N.
