Problems buying WGI

Hello, I had an order in all day yesterday with an offer higher than the ask at PennTrade. It never execuated. I talked to PennTrade and sent an e-mail they didn't respond to either. I now see they have taken my previous WGI purchases and listed them in my account under as WGDFF. Is Western Goldfields delisting from the Toronto Exchange? Anyone else have problems with PennTrade when trying to purchase WGI yesterday? Thanx nonrev

Hey nonrev, I had the same problem last week and after contacting wgi they directed me to eTrade - who they thought was the problem. Anyway, it appears some brokerages are having issues dealing with the symbol changes - contact the lady below: Julie Taylor Western Goldfields 416-324-6015 jtaylor@westerngoldfields.com

I'm having the same problem on my E-Trade account. On Monday my account went from showing WGI and the price in $C, to WGDF and priced in $US. Also, I'm unable to trade! Needless to say, enquiries are slow to be resolved at E-Trade, but thanks for the address of Ms. Taylor, we'll see what she can do.

The ticker has been changed to WGDFF as Company has moved its registration to Ontario from Idaho. I have no problem buying the stock.

CIBC isn't automatically recognizing WGI.TO in my portfolio either even though I bought them as WGI.TO TORONTO, July 13 /CNW/ - Western Goldfields Inc. ("WGI Ontario"), (TSX:WGI, OTC BB:WGDFF.OB) announced today that, in connection with its previously announced change of jurisdiction of incorporation from Idaho to Ontario, Canada, the symbol for the company's common ...more

Has anyone's shares been converted from the over the counter back to the TSX. I deal with TDW and my shares are still recognized as being on the US over the counter market. Have called TDW twice with the same reply "It will take a few weeks".

Royal and Scotia have the same problems in Canada. It's been a couple of weeks already.

On my 2nd call to Etrade (Canada) they recognized the OTC to TSX issue and made the conversion that same night......all is good now

TDW cleared up my problem yesterday because my account now shows the correct symbol. It is a little late now to sell because of the drop today.

I am with Scotia - same issues. Unbelievable how in today's technolgically savvy world things like this aren't switched over seamlessly and instantly. Recent market activity is drawing down our SP, but once the dust settles I believe the demand for gold will bring us back up to the $3 level, and beyond! IMO
