grade too low?

Its grade is only about 0.56 g/t, is that too low?
any thought?

The low grade was well known to the market. Company missed 1st Q production target and increased costs.Lowered 2nd Q production to 20,000 - 30,000 ounces and 2008 total production lowered to 135,000 to 145,000 ounces, a decrease from the 155,000 to 165,000 ounces. Cost of sales for 2008 is expected to average between$470 and $490 per ounce of gold (1), up $60 per ounce from previous estimates of ...more

Punching thru the numbers once again it looks like the 2nd quarter wont be much better than the first again because production is not at 100%.  Any increase in the share price will start sometime after the 2nd quarter.  Their second half of the year will look ok if they maintain their cost/production levels.  FASB 133 rules requiring the MTM on the gold futures to hit P&L is a ...more

Cay you please explain more about the MTM and how that hit is more upfront and maybe not down the road?  I was always foggy on this. thanks.
