US ticker

dumb question but with the USD falling so much against the CAD i am tempted to by the US ticker for TBP.  This way I can benefit from currency fluctuations. Does this makes sense or am I missing something here?

yeah it will def be long term. I made stupid losses buying US stocks when USD was at its peak 2 years ago  and I am guessing i can do the reverse now because USD  looks a bit oversold. Its an added gamble but returns could be sweeter if it plays out. TD charges a pretty steep amount for conversion. CAD would need to appreciate 6-8% to probably make this worthwhile
