Discussion point regarding distribution partner

I don't really agree with this statement from today's release: "In order to maximize both marketing and revenue impact, Tetra and its partner have agreed to launch all products at the same time, once the regulatory framework has been established by Health Canada following the legalization of cannabis. This includes cannabinoid-based as well as non-cannabinoid-based products. Both companies are confident that this strategy will solidify the brand awareness of Tetra's partner in this new product line. The timing of the original LOI was for the commencement of revenue in Q1 2018. Tetra and its partner are now revising that date to Q4 2018" I am picturing chaos of information when weed is legalized where our products won't seem like such a big deal. I think the public and investors will be overwhelmed with information that our product won't stand out. And I don't like linking PP0001 to legalization, I think that takes away our distinguishing points as a Pharma company. What are your thoughts?

wihtout the DIN we will be another drop in bucket with the  influx of products and much more stronger marketing by the big players. Not sure what they are thinking of with this one. They key will be how well they market to the medical community from now legalization. Also why wait till rec legalization medical is  already good to go. this is confusing

Right now, I don't think tetra and his partner could do any advertising anyway even though they wanted to. Finally, from my understanding, ppp001 has nothing to do with this commercial ...more

I read this as a direction coming from the distiributor to strengthen their position as a go to place for Cannibas based products.Tetra must see the merits in it or they wouldn't do it and lets not forget we are only seeing the brush strokes of the deal not the fine print,we don't know what kind of revenue we are talking about but it has to be fairly large. I also think that marketing a ...more

I think alot of organizations underestimate the impact of the upcoming changes to regulations (which are still not entirely known). If I have finite resources I would want to use them to maximize value in the post-legalization regulatory structure (not the current structure). If we are lucky the layers of regulations- Health Canada, Professional, Employer (remember hospitals, home care programs ...more

Also worth noting that liability insurance will dictate what products get sold and by whom  A product with a DIN will stand a far better chance than one without a DIN Pharmacies   won't touch anything without a Din
