Warrants

Great opportunity to pick up TBP on the cheap and to let them mature.  I’ll certainly have no issue paying $1.30/share in 2021 when TBP will be trading well over $5/share.  How anyone can put a negative on this is laughable.  No forced execution is also a great bonus.

New to Warrants here, but does one know the cost of each warrant? Also does buying a warrant mean that you will, by 2021, be able to convert 1 warrant to 1 share for $1.30/share? Meaning if i buy $x worth of warrants, I would convert them to $x/1.30 Shares by 2021 ? Thanks

We aren’t sure what they’ll open at, but I would guess between 5-10 cents.  So, you’ll by X number of warrants for 5 cents/each and then come 2021 when you execute them,  it’ll be 1.30$ per warrant.  Also, warrants trade like stock so you can even make money trading them that way.  Hope this helps.

it’ll be 1.30$ per warrant.    Does this mean X/1.30 =  num of shares ?
Comment by CookeMonster on May 30, 2018 12:46pm
sorry X*.10 (assuming it is 10 cents)/1.30 = Num of shares? X - num of warrants to buy?
Comment by CookeMonster on May 30, 2018 12:47pm
Jeez my math is awful this morning.  Total num of warrants purchased/1.30 = Number of shares? That makes sense?

Say you buy $500 worth of warrants at $0.10/share, you get 5000 shares.  In 2021, when you go to execute those 5000 shares ( @ $1.30/share) it’ll cost you: $6500.

If I'm not mistaken the warrants are currently held by the purchasers of the bought deal that closed on Mar. 5,2018. It will be interesting to see how they trade. Will the owners jump at the chance to sell the right to purchase shares for $1.30 until Mar. 5,2021 for a few cents, or might they hold their warrants for awhile in anticipation of them rising in value? It may not be a very liquid ...more

Interesting. You did seem 100% sure it would drop. But I can't slam someone's truthful answer to a question. So I got nothing. We shall see the developments in the days to come. TV is ruined for me because this is a far more interesting show to watch..
