This is not news. Anybody can apply for a patent for anything they feel is unique. Fill out the patent forms and pay the money. That's it. Applying for a patent is not news. Now, being granted a patent is news, that would drive a stock. But until they are actually granted a patent, there is nothing new in this news release. It's is all fluff with no substance and the drop in SP from it's morning high proves it.

If phase III of PPP001 is near completion (which it just might be already) and TBP feels this is unique, then this is the next step. If they apply for the DIN and TBP gets the DIN. Then another company can't come behind them and steel their product with a patent of what TBP produced. This is called PRODUCT PROTECTION.
