GFS Share Value

I  was reviewing GFS financial balance sheet at:

Taking the Assets of $322 and subtracting the Liabilities of $58M leaves an Equity of $264M.

Equity of $264M divided by the number of outstanding shares of 64M gives a value of each share at $4.12

Given the recent insider buying and considering today's other posts, there seems to be a lot of potential.  Of course, if Q4 numbers come in strong, this should make a good play.

This is JMHO and one of many tools to try to predict the future, so, take it for what it worth.

Predicting the future is always the issue isn't it? As at Q3 (Sept 30)   Tangible assets = $323mm Total liabiliites = $87mm Tangible Book Value = $236mm ($3.69 per share)   They had lost $31mm at the end of Q3, and are on pace to lose ~$40mm for the year. If Q4 even breaks even, it will reverse a disturbing trend of destroying equity. Once this happens, the market will respond by ...more
