As far as I know, there is only 1 company using gelled hydrocarbons... GASFRAC, they have the intuition and experience to perfect and improve the process. If you have disposal income that you can afford to loose and don't mind sitting on the sidelines for a infinite amount of time, I believe GASFRAC can produce results. It's not GASFRAC. I just spoke with the company. Below is a breakdown.   Historically used gelled hydrocarbon and gelled water frac's and has switched to slickwater frac technology bc it provides a significant uplift to initial production. The plan is to use slickwater fracing on all future horizontal Cardium drilling.   Anderson has never used GASFRAC and has no plans to do so ...more
