Bullboard - Stock Discussion Forum Great Bear Resources Ltd. GTBAF

Great Bear Resources Ltd. is a Vancouver-based gold exploration company focused on advancing its 100% owned Dixie project in Northwestern Ontario, Canada. A significant exploration drill program is currently underway to define the mineralization within a large-scale, high-grade disseminated gold discovery made in 2019, the LP Fault. GLA

All this adds value to the project.

I agree Flash, so the SP will probably only grind higher, but very SLOWLY.  No takeover that I can see. Gilbert Lawson is a mine maker!!
Comment by Goaweigh on Mar 08, 2021 9:28am
They've thrown down the gauntlet as I hoped they would. His expertice was the only piece the Co. was missing. No takeover yet but it will come eventually, I have no doubt about that whatsoever.
Comment by lumpy13 on Mar 08, 2021 3:42pm
First, Lawson is a great addition as a director given his broad experience. Second, they need his expertise as they continue to develop the property and decide whether to buld a mine or sell the company.  My personal opinion is that they will eventually sell to a major, but they need to start laying the eventual groundwork for mine development to show the market GBR can go it on its own ...more

Anyone else think a lowball $25 USD offer is right around the corner?  After some back and forth, I'm guessing we will all settle on $40 USD due to the poor market environment and impatience.  Sure, we are probably worth more, but would you rather have $10 or $40?  Right now, we are worth $10 on the secondary market (US).
Comment by Ivorygull on Mar 08, 2021 8:25pm
Sorry eatmorefiber2, but there is no fu4k1ng way that I'm selling for $40 per share. Anyone doing that should be ashamed of themselves, as not only would they be doing a disservice to themselves, but they'd be shafting every other long that holds GBR. This is going over $100 per share.
Comment by CdnBadger on Mar 09, 2021 10:31am
Exactly. An ill informed individual would sell at $40. This is $100 plus all day long. The SP wouldn't be where it is at right now if people understood the value of what they are holding and had the discipline to hold on to their shares. Perhaps once the maiden is out people will get a little more clarity about our situation. We're maybe 9 months away from our tail wind.
Comment by goldbuz on Mar 09, 2021 12:58pm
A $100 share price would sure be nice. I not very good at math, so maybe one of you would be so kind as to how you came up with that number
Comment by flashcash on Mar 09, 2021 1:33pm
It would require around 20 million oz's valued at $250 a ground oz, not impossible though. Give 2 to 3 years yeah could see that value. GLA
Comment by goldbuz on Mar 09, 2021 4:23pm
I’m just guessing here, but I think the Re. Will be about 10 mil.oz. Potential for a lot more with the deep drilling, that won’t be part of the re. , but will be there for a potential buyer to look at. So what will the buyout be worth per share, I’d be happy with $60 USD, but that’s just me, it’s fine to hope for more, I do to.
Comment by Fredo51545 on Mar 09, 2021 6:51pm
You are dreaming. No company will pay $300/oz for gold in the ground with a mine/mill development cost of $3 billion (multiple open pits, an underground mine for the Hinge and a 40,000 ton/day mill.)
Comment by Ivorygull on Mar 09, 2021 2:31pm
Sure, I'll try and come up with that tonight. Probably repost a lot of what I said last year..............................................
Comment by Ivorygull on Mar 09, 2021 10:59pm
…..So here is my take on the value. A lot of the following was written before the Hinge Zone was drilled deeper and the Arrow zone was found. Also it was before GBR decided to start formally using other projects as similarities. I have updated the share count and gold price from the original posts……   Similar deposit/mine buyout calculation. The following numbers are not some back of ...more

Very nice analysis Ivorygull. This ties in very well with my crude calculations. One thing that many fail to realize is that when AISC are kept within a certain range of say 650-675 per ounce, and gold establishes a decent floor of say 1700-1800 USD. , just what is a deposit of this size worth. My opinion only, as size is established, and gold price increases, 100 per share may be a very low ball ...more

Wow Ivorygull, Sounds like you're well into this one....... I've chased far worse. Forget about my few thousand measly shares, hope it goes into orbit for your sake. Truly believe this is a moonship, but please take a little off table as she rises:-) Best S

Hey surething1111, thanks for the advise. It is a thought for sure to do that, but then I won't make as much. At my age, 66, I've decided to go for it and wait until the end. You can't make money without spending money. I'm no investor, having lost over $100,000 in other stocks, and have no idea about trading, but I can't see losing on this one. The average for my shares ...more

Thanks Ivorygull, looks like you put a lot of thoughtt into your share price calculation. If that’s what the price turns out to be, it would be beyond anything I could even dream about. My crystal ball method only got me to $60 dollars, but it’s not always reliable.
Comment by Ivorygull on Mar 10, 2021 1:41pm
No Problem, goldbuz. Honestly it would be beyond my dreams too, but I believe it could happen. I sold a second house I owned and mortgaged my own to the hilt to get as many as I could, so I certainly believe in it. It will depend a lot on what they come up with in ounces in this first area, which I had at 12M+and only at two grams per tonne. I actually feel that it will be more than that, maybe ...more

"If the resource came out at 20,000,000 ozs at $1720 US, that's $55.48 US on 62,000,000 shares"........that is based on a 10% total of the value of the gold. This seems to be a reasonable amount according to what I have read, and it can vary, so it could be more. Both the Red Lake District and the Hemlo District have produced more than 20,000,000 ounces, so I don't think it is ...more

Ivory.  I hear what you and some others are saying, but please take a look at what Tudor just released. 19 million ounces initial MRE, and the stock goes up 2% with a $400 million market cap.  Granted their resource is low grade, but open in all directions.   Here's hoping for a much more robust reaction when it's our turn.
Comment by Ivorygull on Mar 09, 2021 7:56pm
Yea, I saw that today, and was very impressed. I had some Tud and AMK but recently sold to get more CNC. I know what your saying though, that the price didn't change much with all that great news. All I can suggest is that there are a number of stocks including GBR's that are being manipulated. Also, the news just came out today, so I think there will be changes coming there real soon ...more
