Rikkee - I don't think the GoldCorp Quest story is really "off topic" at all! 21 years ago Rob McEwen came in with a game changing strategy and increased the understanding of the Red Lake geology -- revitalizing the entire local gold camp ! ------ today GBR is doing the same thing ! The biggies know how to squeeze the explorers;but GBR may surprise them as Osisko Mining is doing by buying long lead time mining equipment now that the RE on Windfall is in print.  CT, Bob Singh etc may decide to continue surprising the big boys. Either way we win big.

Rob is still doing that to this day. For 35 mil $ Rob bought the Black Fox mine in TIMMONS into which the owner had poured 150 mil. Rob bought it and  then invited all the geos, miners, and mgrs who had ever worked BF to a meeting to discuss where the gold is/was.  Soon BF will be an abundant producer for MUX
